so it's the time of year I love most the few days around Halloween and that day it's self
speaking of hope everyone here has a happy Halloween
and I'm so happy as it's been a good month for me (as most Octobers are)
it was last year around Oct. I stopped just lurking and really jumped into DA full on
and really it was becuase of dolls
well dolls and liking to take photos of them
though I do draw and enjoy drawing pix I'm very hard on my art and don't even post a 10th of what I draw
so I post way more potos then things I have drawn

now off of my art here and back to dolls a bit

I got both my 1st and 2nd male dolls last year in Oct
Will I had been waiting forever on when he came Oct 14th
and my 2nd boy Thaddeus I ordered only a few days later
and he came on the best day of the year the 31st thats right Halloween
the doll I got to be someone's evil clone could not have come on a better day

I meant to post new photos of Will around the 14th but life has been busy so I have fallen so behind on DA
(I can keep up on messages but have to catch up on looking at deviations

so anway I'll be taking Halloween doll potos again this year
and nice new pix of Will and Thad should be in with those

other doll news for Oct
way back a few days before my birthday Ron ordered my B-day gift a pair of doll hands but not just any doll hands
a few places make these Articulated doll hands that can pose like a humans hand
and I fell for them but they are for bigger dolls the plan had been get hands then one day get new doll
so the Doll-Zone hands were ordered 2 or 3 days before my B-day (which is Sep 1st) and I got them last night long wait
the place they came from (the Denver doll emporium) had to get them from China so slowest boat ever!
well as I set all Sep waiting on hands I started looking at DZ boys to use them and found a few I really liked plan was going to save up for a new doll next year
then someone on the Wi doll forum I'm on had one of these boys for sell at a damn good price and in the same skin color as the hands win win
she had the doll with a full outfit, wig, and eyes thrown in 400$
all added up and with shiping from all the places this stuff was from worth around 750$ if I ordered it online
so great deal at 400$ also she did not live to far from me about a 15 min drive so we were able to meet and no shipping woot woot
so on the 4th of this month my new elf boy came home
making 3 October dolls <(^._.^)>
I named him Darick after a D&D character of mine a half-elf and a swordsman
well Darick with his new hands can now hold all the doll sized Swords my other dolls couldn't and I'm sooo happy <3
he still needs a face up and I don't know if I want to try and do it my self or send him off but I love him as I love all my dolls

I feel very lucky to own so many beautiful dolls and they give my such joy
